UNISOL® JobAcctTM DB2 AccountingDB2 accounting is available as an option to UNISOL JobAcct licensees to track database connect time, cpu usage, disk I/O operations, and memory usage by session, user and project. DB2 activity can be charged to projects based on the current project for a user, database login or database application name.Unlike other implementations of DB2 database accounting, UNISOL JobAcct does not use sampling to collect database usage data because that impacts system performance and may miss data if the sampling interval is too large. UNISOL JobAcct implements DB2 accounting by using database triggers to capture session activity when the session ends. The database accounting data is available for inclusion in all of JobAcct's standard reports. |
